What will happen to your support and contribution
Your support really is very much appreciated … and we want you to be sure that your money is going to the right people.

The aim is simple, to give something back to the children of Letterkenny and the surrounding areas … children of all ages will now be sponsored to train, taught by professionals and potentially sent to New Zealand for special training with a premier youth Rugby Academy in New Zealand, under a unique scholarship scheme.

You could find that you have helped Letterkenny Rugby Football Club produce some of the finest players in the country within 5 years.

However, providing excellent training is just part of the solution the grounds the youngsters will train need to be good enough so allow strong and effective rugby to be played.

Through this fund raising new changing facilities will be built, to help prepare our team and our guests effectively for a great game. Your contribution will also go towards building a new clubhouse so you and all the other supporters, plus the team have a great place to meet, network and enjoy Letterkenny Rugby Team.

To ensure the Letterkenny stands out as the place for Rugby in Ireland a centre of excellence will be built, where teams from around the country can come and learn more about the great art of playing rugby, about techniques and tactics plus health and fitness. All this will help place Letterkenny on the map of worldwide rugby and give you more reason to call this club ‘a club to be proud of’.

But that’s not all … in creating this time capsule of supporters, businesses and members of the club, showing how our links with New Zealand make Letterkenny a special place in worldwide rugby, the future of the club will remain secure and provide a good laugh to all those in 10 years time when you see hairstyles and what we were wearing!

From 1905 to today, rugby has been a force in sporting history … this site will ensure Letterkenny Rugby Club will be part of the future.
